A couple of Lake Austin virgins popped our cherries today.:D Herzog and I fished LA from about 11:00 to 4:00. It was my first time ever fishing out of my yak and both our first times on LA. Though we didn't catch a double digit bass or end up with a 40 lb stringer, we had a great day. Herzog's biggest were an 8 and a 5. My 2 biggest were a 6.5 and 5 (BTW, I'm the not so shaggy one ;D). We were very happy for a first time on LA and were already talking about next year.

Met a couple of other ABFers on the water. One of which caught a giant that he will hopefully be posting pics of soon.

Ryan - my friend and I noticed that the back of your yak was riding a little low but just figured you must've had a lot of gear in back - didn't know you were taking on water!

Yeah.....I did have a 12v battery in the back b/c we were running the depth finder, but it crapped out on us so it was all for nothing.
