Fished LA from 5:30 to 9:45, putting in at 360 and fishing up to the bluffs just north of Emma Long;

Off boatdocks on the channel side, boated 5 LMB, all keepers but not huge; prob'ly in the 1-1.5lb range. 3 taken on H20 Model M crankbait in Sexy Shad and Golddust. 2 taken on TR Grandebass Honcho.

One bluegill on Model M, one catfish on Model M.

Not too many skiers, but enough to be a PITA. Got off the lake, got to Oak Hill and had breakfast at Chapala.

Typical LA day (not too exciting) for Herbster...

Speaking of the GB Honcho. I have been thrown some a few times without much success. (Unlike the Rattlesnake. Gotta Luv-em)

Has anyone done anything on the Honcho's? Rigging and Color(s)?

tried wacky worm and drop shotting for the first time tonight. got two on the drop shot, never stayed still enough with the wind/current/wakes to be effective with the wacky.

ah, well i think im gonna take a quick nap and head back out
