Fished L.A. with my son on Saturday. Fished from 7am-9am thats about the attention span time for him, its getting better though :.

I managed to catch a couple of fish shallow on spinnerbaits early the big one might have been 3lbs then got real tough for us.

Still great to get the little man out though. He enjoys the boat rides and checking on the fish in the livewell etc..

Oh yeah and he got to hook the monster bass in front of Hula Hut he thought that was super cool.

Good times!  Can't wait to get my kiddo out on the water in the Spring.  Maybe we should set up some sort of Father/Kiddo tournament?  However, HHJ is on a roll in the tournaments right now; might have to wait 'til you cool off a bit!

My daughter will be born in December. Every time I go to Academy I look at the kiddie fishing poles and wonder which one she'll pick. I already know where to take her to catch tiny bluegills.

Very cool indeed, good looking kid! . I don't have any kids, but I do have a 7 yr old nephew thats real close to the house and get to take him into brushy creek behind the house and he catches perch. Kids are a blessing, you always get to do things for the first time again.

Can't wait unti his attention span is a little longer than his peck&^   ;D
