Questions:
1. Why is the entry fee/person? Most tourneys are per/team. So actually it's $60/team to play for two guys. If I fish alone, it should still be the same fee, but I get all the prize money to myself.

2. For the undersize fish, what are the length limits that are allowed to be weighed in?

3. If each person is paying individually, then shouldn't both members be able to weigh in 5 fish each, but fish out of one boat? Seems to me that it's every man for himself.

Thanks,
Bass rookie :-/

Thanks for asking those questions. I think the same ones came up last
year.
Fishing for only 5 fish per team with 1 oversized fish levels the playing field for the weekend warrior type fisherman to compete with the guys
who fish tournaments all the time.
The tournament fees for one and two man team are set up that way to make it affordable to the guys who can't or don't want to fish with a partner. We are not out to make a profit on the tournament. It is more than 100 % payback including the door prizes and lunch. Our tournament is a promotion for
Kellymoore paints to bring recognition to us while hosting a fun event.

The length limits for the Kelly Moore Tournament are
5 undersized bass per team
12" (must touch the 12" line) to 14" (must not touch the 14" line)

The protected slot limit is 14" to 21"

or 4 undersized bass per team and one oversized bass (must touch the 21" line

I will post the sign-up sheet and remaining rules within the next
day or two. Hope to see you there. Charlie
