Hi all, just a heads up that we will be having a kayak anglers bass fishing tourney on LCRA lake Bastrop this coming Saturday March 8th. Over 40 kayak anglers will be launching from the south shore park at daybreak and fishing the entire lake through out the day. Most are seasoned anglers, however we do have a few rookies in our midst so bear with them. Please keep a sharp lookout for small watercraft if you are on the lake Saturday and thank you for doing so 8)

Weigh-in is at 3p and awards are to follow around 330p. I've rented the covered group facility at the south shore park. We do CPR(catch,photo, release) so no fish to hold up. Instead, we upload the pics of the bass on our measuring devices to a laptop to judge, then transfer those pics along with others to a big screen monitor that runs a leader board much like a golf tourney. No one else does this and its intial run was at the KATS 1st tourney on Decker. The idea and operating program was conceived by Robin Fuller and is really slick! Please do stop by if you can 8)
