I went out to practice flipping jigs on the pond behind my house in Houston where I know some decent LMB hang out.  Hooked into this one today not really expecting to catch anything.  As you can see it looks like it swallowed a tennis ball:

Upon further inspection when removing the jig from it's mouth, you could still see the remenants of dinner:

Serves as a good reminder to look and see what a fish just ate before you stick your thumb in there.  Weemo informed me of a guy getting bit on the hand by a baby water mocasin that had just been swallowed half way.    :'(

It's amazing how large of prey bass can eat.  Many years ago, when I still lived at home in San Angelo, I was catching white's below a small dam feeding one of the lakes out there.  I caught about a 2.5 lb LMB and put him in the fish basket along with the white's I had been catching.  When I got home and started cleaning fish I noticed that the LMB had eaten one of the whites and the tail was sticking completely out of its mouth.  I guess he didn't like the close quarters and decided to make some more room for himself!
