Fished Fayette yesterday from dawn til dark.  Caught a couple of fish early on topwater then that bite died.  Caught a few working the edges of grasslines and a few on the dam but it was really slow going.

Decided to try something completely different and moved to offshore structure in 10-20 FOW and it was on!  Partner and I easily had 15 double hookups during the last half of the day and wound up catching 100+ fish with the majority of them being 3lbs or better and around 20 over 5lbs!

Didn't take pictures as we didn't want to take the time with as hot as the fishing was.  Other than the couple of topwater fish everything was caught on either trick worms of rattlesnakes.

The Navionics card paid for itself on this trip!

Good luck!

Just buy the current southern region map card. I believe mine is an '07. Make sure you get the latest as they've added alot of our local lakes over the last couple of editions.

Tony,
Thanks for calling me Sunday evening and sharing your fun experience on Fayette. You had me wanting to fish it today, but I had to work this afternoon.

Great when you can find the pattern and stay on quality bass. It is only going to get better on Fayette, IMO..
