My partner Lance, BassTracker, has his brother in town this week and is fishing the tournament with him :'(

I would too Lance.

Anyhow I also am looking for a backseat for this one.
Will cover our entry fee and bring an 18pk of refreshments along for further enjoyment.

After looking I'm interested but have one question about the rules. I can't make it this week but would like to know before next week's contest.

A team will consist of two anglers per boat; all contestants must have a valid fishing license.

Does this mean I need to bring or find someone to fish in my boat or can I fish alone? I noticed that there are those that are asking for a back seat but since I don't know the lake it could be a bummer for them if they chose to ride with me. (and will probably be the same for me).

The people on hear that are asking for a backseat just want to get out and fish. It does not matter if you win anything or not. To answer your question, Yes you can fish by yourself. Two people per boat is the max amount of people per boat.

Is it Wednesday yet? ;D

Looking forward to seeing some new guys out there. Hot air, cool water usually makes for good fishing.

We normally beach up at City Park ( Emma Long park ) about 5:30p or so.

If you can get out that early, come on over and hang out.

Registration and live well checks will begin about 6p. Launch at 6:30p.

Heck yes we will! I just wanna get out and try to find a good one. I caught my PB in May (when I started Bass fishing) off LA and is only 3 lb 12 oz, so it's really only a matter of time before I set a new personal record. I've had my boat going on 3 weeks so thiss'll be the inaugural tourney. Lookin forward to it.
