Alan,

You might have to come out one day and hang with us stoner wake dudes. When weighted correctly my boat pitches a mean wake and you can ride a long board from 360 all the way up to Quinlan ;D

Not sure if I can donate money this weekend. Trying to drag Grnhead downtown Fri pm...if we show up it will definitely be amusing.

Guys if y'all could, please make an effort to fish the Take A Marine Tourney instead. They are really in need of boaters and all it costs is an unwrapped toy. This tourney is a great cause and almost everyone walks away with a raffle prize of some sort.

Skeet,

Others are going to have to post up on this. The HHJ Lake Austin Classic was on the calendar long before this tourney. It sounds fun, I love those guys, and will do it if others want to cancel the HHJ for the week.

It is too bad that it falls on the same weekend.
We had 13 boats last week, at least 6 of the regulars need to post up to cancel the HHJ.

Outlaw, I am sure you are in right?

Grnhead and I were on Travis today and even though there are markers out there they need to start blocking off sections of the lake near Mansfield. We went from 80' of water to 15' to 1.5' in a very short stretch  There are road blocks sitting in the middle of the lake that are half exposed.

I think we are out for Sat as well.

Did the same thing for myself. Went to Mansfield about 6p and ran up on the rocks. Luckily I knew this spot was trouble. It is not marked well at all.

I was only going a few miles an hour, but Travis is not good now.

Got ran off by the storms and never got a bite.

EA,

A few weeks ago I had to help pull a guy's boat back onto his trailer at Mansfield. He was in an i/o and tore off every blade of his prop coming through that really shallow section before the swim area. It sucks to have to circle all the way around the islands when launching at Mansfield but oh well.

Hey Air,

Well, you do not have to circle around the islands. You just have to say right of the second Hazard marker on the left. There is a small channel there that is 15' deep. It is very confusing to find it the way they have the markers set .

My buddy and I hit there about a month ago in his 30' Rinker. We were also shocked at how they had it marked.

I should have know better, been boating on that Lake since I was a little kid.

Cool, I know where you are talking about. I took my wakeboard boat through that channel the day I helped put that guy's boat back on the trailer. I recall it being around 16' that day but assumed it had dried up since then. Thanks for the heads up!
