Great!

We had 18 Teams on 8/1.

That is almost a $300.00 payout for 1st. ( considering you take BB too. )

See everyone out there.

They are the same.

The gates lock up tight at about 10p.

If you are not out of there by then. You spend the night.

Ya'll reckon' it would be o.k. if a couple of "Chumps" from Giddings showed up for the Wed night tourney. I promise you, we're no threat as we've only been on the lake 3 times. Me and NitroShane are looking for a "back to school tourney" and for some good times with the ABF crew.

Hey Bucky,

We would really like for you guys to come out. LA is a lake that can sometimes reward you greatly because you do not know it. ( Ask Ranger 188 )

I promise ABF guys will be on our best behavior. No smack talking, no mention of Sommerville, Travis,, or our Trophy..  ;D

Hope to see you there. City Park beach just past the " No Boat " Area.

Take Care,

Thanks E.A. Yea, let's not bring the trophy out for old time's sake or anything. I've always put in at 360 Bridge. Isn't the City Park up river just a couple of bends from there on the right?? ( and what the heck is that medieval looking place up river over on the right from 360.......last time I was over there night fishing one time last summer, there were a couple hundred "folks" runnin' around over there in the dark......sounded like they were having a good time.......but seemed a little "strange" to us country folk. We don't quite have that kind of stuff around here! Someone would get shot at by mistake!)

TxBucky,

Yes, Cp is about a mile up river on the right. You will see a bunch of boats beached up for sign in. Pull on up.

The Midieval place.. hmmm.. drawing a blank on that.

There is a old boy scout camp on the right up from 360 bridge, but I have not see people there.

Good to see you out there!

Cool; we get to hang out with the Chumps again. I was wondering when you guys were going to join us on LA. Glad to hear that you'll be there!!

As for the Medieval place; Yep I know exactly what you are talking about. Its upstream from the bridge first small cove on the right after the reeds. Funny that you mention it because my nickname for that place is "Medieval Cove". Some dude with a good chunk of cash and a fetish for Renfest type stuff owns it. The docks in the cove have banners or flags made of sheet metal hanging above the boats and "swan" paddle boats. The flags are painted with shields or various family crests. Strange, not to mention the little village of play houses and the large wooden sailing ship play set.

I used to pull a few keepers in there from time to time but it's gone cold on me for the past couple years.

Anyhow, I digress. Glad you guys are coming to town to hang with the crew. See you on the water.

We've been talking about coming over and fishing with you guys for a while, but after the Travis/Somerville whipping we took, I didn't want to show my face...I guess it has been a couple of months so I am ready for you guys to hand it to me again.

Haha, I like to call that little playscape the midget playground.  I tried to get Terry to fish that area several times but he is terrified of midgets and/or dwarves (especially the ones eating burritos).  You guys make sure to ask him why the next time you see him  ;D

They hold parties there quite often and regular folks throw extravagant social gatherings here as well.  One night I witnessed a bunch of people in black tie being served hors d'oeuvres by midgets wearing blankets and sombreros.  The kicker was the midgets had the tops of their sombreros filled with chips and salsa, kinda like walking trays if you will...BRILLIANT!!!

Hope to see you out there Bucky and Shane.  One tip, make sure your cooler is full  ;)  Austin can be great at times but when she shuts off the fish can be extremely finicky!
