Better get my name on the list for a backseat. I will glady cover the entry fee. Caught a 5+ the last HHJ.
Also caught a 8.5 on La end of feb. Know a couple of good spots holding some decent fish.

SHORT TERM FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX
300 PM CDT WED APR 9 2008
.NOW...
THROUGH 5 PM...SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP
ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS. THE ACTIVITY WILL GENERALLY BE
LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS...BUT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. MEASURABLE RAINFALL WILL BE
SPOTTY...WITH ACCUMULATIONS RANGING FROM A TRACE TO A FEW
HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH POSSIBLE BY 5 PM
Tonight...Cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may be severe. Lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph
If it is pouring down rain during check in we might need to consider a different location...say Ski Shores?
We can grab a table near the end of the deck and boats can just roll by with their livewells open and hand over their entry fee or dock and stand under the covered patio until take off. That way no rain water gets into your beer.
From what I see it doesn't look too bad, 40% chance of showers with winds in the 13-15 mph range.
Good call on ski shores, but keep in mind George of ski shores frowns upon beer drinking at his place if you are not buying from him. If you are buying your brew from his he is cool.
Good luck out there guys, just my luck I am in town, but livewell is shot on my boat. I will be hanging out outside with a cold one on dock giving them hell..
