Decided to hit Decker today to see if I could catch a few fish. Got on the water around 6:30 this morning. Didn't catch a bass at all. It's amazing for the last 8 months I'd go out and catch 15 to 30 fish a day. July rolls around and I can't buy a bite. I did catch 4 of the biggest shellcrackers I've ever caught so I guess it wasn't a total loss. Can't wait for some cooler weather and maybe I'll get back on some fish. Guess I should have taken heed to some of the other reports about fishing not being so good on Decker. It was a nice morning out so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

Getting way too hot on the Power Plant Lakes for me.

I have had great luck hitting both Bastrop and Fayette in late fall and winter. Haven't fished Decker but plan to hit it sometime in the fall and during the winter.

For now I'm hanging at LA with the cool water and LT from time to time.

Decker has not been producing like it normally does. It seems like a good day out there right now, for me, is 2 fish. I think I am going to try and spend more time on Georgetown and Granger. I have not fished either of them very much at all. So it will be good to learn a couple new lakes.
