Btw Walter - don't be shy - tell us about your fishing trips and don't be afraid to ask questions - most of the people here are great about sharing what they are doing that works and what doesn't. Follow the forums that cover the fishing you like to do and get involved. Lot's of variety in this area - lakes, rivers, ponds, retention ponds. Someone here will be able to tell you about fishing all of these. Even Google Earth fishing is discussed here. Glad to have you aboard.

I am almost always from a kayak or walking a pond or wading a river. Occasionally I will be in a boat.

Guys, I hate to derail the welcome wagon because y’all have really rolled out the red carpet for our new member, but Walter is an open pen Tilapia farmer in Vietnam. He has likely never seen a black bass.

I don’t know where 3,000 comes from, but it warrants closer examination by the active members.
