My buddy and I launched from Jim Hogg at 10:30 after the morning storms into the now beautiful weather. We targeted bluff walls and secondary points. Fish were blowing up here and there so my buddy tied on a whopper plopper while I fished an underspin at the surface. The fish scoffed. As the hours ticked by we threw diving crankbaits, jerkbaits, jigging spoon, mondoworm, football jig, squarebill, lipless cranks....nothin. By this time the wind had picked up pretty substantially which made for a further insulting paddle to an already baffling day. Im at a loss here...anybody have a stick of dynamite on em?

Determined to remember what a bite feels like, I fished a local creek and managed to pull out 3 bouncing a squarebill off the rocks. This is the best of em.
