Launched around 7am, from Cedar Breaks, and tried the usual surefire trolling spot off the East Point of Jim Hogg. First pass, had a triple, (1 12' black, and 2 small crappie), on 2 middle n's and a bomber suspended shad. Tried to find a worm bite back in the cove by the trees, but nada. Went back to the point, and picked up several "legal" bass on Senko type baits, but none of any size.
Once it got hot, the bite quit. Total fish caught,(approx.), 10 crappie 7-11", 6 whites 6-10", and 13 lm, 8-15'.
Good time on the water!

Hello Everybody,

Last Wednesday night my father and I posted a note about Georgetown. We we fishing there Thur in a small club T.

Anyway, we got some good pointers from "Clint B" and "docb." We struggled all day catching only small fish (mostly on 4" blue fleck power worm). Late in the afternoon we finally caught four or five pretty good fish (up to 17").

These fish were in the timber almost straight acorss from cedar break park. The fish were biting on a watermelon/red z-nail.

My dad has been a member for a while and he has kept me informed of ABF news. I figured it was about time I joined.

Anyway, Thanks to HHJ $ EA and all the others who make this site what it is. I know I'm leaving some peole out but I will make it up later.

Thanks,

Brett
