We hit Georgetown a little late, about 7:30-8am, and it showed. This was my first time on this lake, so I am a little sketchy as to what all we stopped at, so bear with me.

We went to the dam and tried to pick up some fish there, but the trolling motor was going in and out (this was not my boat but I tell ya, any boat is a good boat).

We figured to head to the coves and tie off to some trees so we went up towards Russell Park (in that area) and we hit a spot and the moment we stopped the motor, the fish started swarming about 20 ft off the stern. I cast in a white Fluke and it hit right off, a 13inch.

We did not get a single bite after that and the swarming stopped, I think we ticked them off.. heh

We went to another cove closer to the park and I cast with the fluke right off the bat and again, first cast got a hit, just under 14inches.

That was all we hit and we left the lake about 12:30-1.

We let the fish go in a pond over by my house ;)

laugh, nah.. we did not have a trolling motor, so could not get to a lot of places we would normally be able to reach. They were doing well where we were AND.. we had a great time ;)
