I have been holding back on this but here goes. My friend James and I went fishing Tuesday night at Lake Georgetown. We didn't have much luck for the first 30 minutes. Then we moved over to a ledge. We caught fish from 6:30-9:30. Two of the 30+ fish we caught were 13", 4-5 were 15", 10+ were 16-17.5", and the remaining 12 were all over 18". We culled from 17lbs at 7:30 to over 23 lbs by 9:30. The five biggest were 6.5, 5, 4.5, 4, and 4 lbs. This was my best trip to Georgetown by far. I have pictures but chose not to post because of the location. Don't bother casting doubt, I don't care.

Enjoy your pictures, after all you only take them so you can see them, who else needs to see them anyways.

You guys are funny with your secret fishing spots. Above location I think fishing is about skill/presentation, I can tell you exactly where I catch fish but it doesnt mean you are going to hook them up like I would or vice versa.

We caught them on a Carolina Rig in 10-12'. Also, in my opinion a good spot wins more tournaments than a good pattern. Maybe I am wrong but I have seen it to many times. The guys that are most consistent don't share spots. Look who has been winning the local tournaments and you will see a pattern. It's definately not a for sure thing but a good spot means more than most people are willing to admit.

Agreed. I have my spots on LT that I never post pics of since it's real obvious. You just have to keep quiet sometimes about location.

Look at what Tim Horton did at Lake Champlain. He found a spot on accident, and had his limit in the first 15-30mins each day. The fish had never seen a lure, he caught them left and right, he caught so many, he went to the docks with 7 hours left and ate lunch with his family. ;D
