Dropped in a for a quick float on Gtown, starting about 4:00 until 7:30 or so. Water temps 82 cooling to 78 at dusk. Only my second time on the lake, so I really don't know it that well, but started a few coves up lake flipping trees with mixed cedars. Every time I would come up to a thick cedar, put a baby rattle snake right in the middle, let it sink, and THUMP...barn door crappie. Caught a handful like this and went back to chasing bass.
Ended up in some of the coves around the dam, caught a few dinks around flooded bushes.
White bass were schooling some, but didn't chase them.

Off the water and back in the easy chair to watch the boys! :)

hey Terry.. been out to that lake a few times with my buddy down the street. He is showing me a lot of nice coves out there. There is also a good cliff spot too. We'll have to hook up sometime if you go out there.
