Its hotter than you know where down here! Holy cow! Gonna fish tomorrow from 530am til noon...if I can last that long...good grief...
Did pick up some yo zuri lures and two paul brown topwaters in that metallic pink I like...and trokar hooks...you know how it goes...oh yeah, blanked at jones park this morning...not much top activity, but been catching em every day til today...

I didn't catch a dang thing....had one blow up early, and that was it...water too choppy for top...other two guys caught 3 trout and a small shark....off water at ten due to a storm...fine with me....couldn't really do the kind of fishing I prefer anyway...they were dragging croaker, I like throwing tops....oh well....I aint ever living on the coast, ill tell ya that much! Too friggin hot and humid....

I was out in Galveston also last weekend it was pretty fun fishing in the rain. Top water was really fun early in the morning on the surf. caught a baby shark and some trout .

Definitely gets hot summer time... one reason I like to fish lights for trout at night this time of year back in canals with kayak, piers or something.
