Galveston bay has been producing good number of trout and redfish despite the cold winter. On days when water temps get into the mid to upper 50’s the trout bite has been great. We’ve been concentrating on mud/shell bottom in 3-5’ of water. Marsh drains have been good of outgoing tides. Bass assasin seashads in chicken on the chain and slamming chicken colors have been working the best. I like to rig them on the lightest jig head possible, 1/16 or 1/8th.
