Buddy and I went out to G-townon thursday we fished from about 9 to 1 the weather was beautiful. We had a decent day caught about 15 fish all in about 20ft on texas rigged plastic. Most fish were in the 1 to 2 lb range

We were out there as well and had a few hookups. Did you find that the bite was aggressive or reactionary? We got bit but just not real hard. It was the second time we fished the lake and I would imagine it gets hot at times. I plan on fishing it quite a bit in the future. Hopefully there will be a boat involved in the next few months.

I forgot, I got this turd on a jig. Figured it out what it was pretty quickly. Hookset, back and forth, back and forth, then straight under the boat.

Those are great in the skillet! I caught one on a crank bait a few months back in G.T.

That is the best eating fresh water fish. They are not so pretty on the outside, but they are great on the inside.

Flathead or "yellow" cat.

the correct name used by fisheries biologist is the flathead catfish, but it is also called yellow cat (it has very little color if caught in muddy water). It also has other common names in different parts of the country.
