Randy Roe and I were fishing way back in a no wake cove at the end of the tournament day. We had 1st flight and had to be in at 3:30 p.m. We already had our limit and decided about 2:55 to go near the check-in and pitch around some docks to try to cull a small keeper. The starter on his boat would not catch and we could not get the boat started. We noticed Mr. Pierce some 70 yards ahead of us and yelled out to him. He immediately quit fishing and came to see what we needed. We had 1st flight and he had 2nd flight. We told him not to worry about us to keep fishing we would try to call someone to get help. He asked if we had fish? We told him we had a limit and he told Randy to get the fish and jump in. I then trolled for 30 minutes to get out of the no wake to try to get pulled in. Around 3:45 p.m. I saw Mr. Pierce coming around the bend. He had taken Randy all the way to the weigh-in and came all the way back and towed the boat in. We had only met Mr. Pierce that morning at the ramp before the tournament. We were only hoping to get to weigh-in to at least get our points for the tournament. We had 10.05 lbs. and ended up finishing in 13th place and got a check. He took over a 1 1/2 hrs. of his time to help us.

Mr. Pierce, we appreciate your eagerness to help two fellow angler's. THANK YOU!

Jeff, great news about your Dad.

Mr Pierce, may God bless you for your willingness to think of others before yourself. You no doubt have the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ in you as you have obeyed the 2nd most important command that Jesus gave us. Mattew 22:37 "Love your neighbor as yourself". Thank you for being a blessing to others.

Charlie, well said.
Lynnwood is a true fisherman and I commend him for his compassion for others. Man, you just do not see this on many trails. I think this is exactly why we are growing, and people appreciate men like Lynnwood Pierce.
