We are halfway into the 07 season and things are starting to take shape for the Angler of the Year race. A mere 8 points separates the 5th place team of Paul Carmen and Dale Read to the leading team of Jody Jackson and Jay Jackson with 390 points. Only 2 points separate the Jackson team to the second place team of Dough Johnson and Craig Krienke. Lake Austin will shake things up for sure.

April 14, 2007 takes us to the Big Bass Capital of Central Texas, Lake Austin, which has claimed its fame for the numbers of 13 pound plus bass inducted to the TPWD Share a Lunker Program, since it's inception in 1986. Lake Austin is currently tied for 5th place with Lake Bob Sandlin with 7 Share a Lunkers in the program.

City Park (Emma Long Park) will host the launch and weigh in Saturday April 14th.

Emma Long Metropolitan Park is located at 1600 City Park Road, Austin, TX 78730. 6.2 miles off FM 2222 on City Park Road. City Park Rd.+78730

We will be back at Hill Country Bible Church for the Pre-Tournament Meeting.

Registration will begin at 6PM Friday March 13th.

Hill Country Bible Church is located in far northwest Austin at the intersection of Ranch Road 620 and Little Elm Trail, 1.4 miles west of Hwy.183 & RR 620.

12124 RR 620 N. Austin, TX 78750. 512-331-5050

Remember to have your entry money post marked and in the mail by April 6th, or you can register at Sportsman's Warehouse in Round Rock anytime before 6PM (Wednesday) April 11th

Late registration will be at the Pre-Tournament Meeting Friday April 13th and will be assessed a $25 late charge.
