With 3 of the 5 qualifying tournaments for the 2008 season out of the way, the race for the Fishers of Men Central Texas Division Point Champions is heating up.
Leading the pack is the husband wife team of Roger and Jerral Boling with 578 points (as well leading the Male/Female category). Trailing by only 8 points is the team of Kevin Pederzani and Dan Taylor.
Leading the Youth/Adult category with 494 points is the team of Randy Jacoby, and Kevin Howell. And following right behind them with 492 points are the Team of Yung Follis and Regan Vaca.
With two tournaments left in the 2008 season, top finishes are a must to make the cut for the Regional Tournament this fall. The top 24 teams and the highest finishing Adult/Junior and Male/Female that have competed in at least 3 events will qualify to attend the regional. Just to clarify, if the highest finishing Male/Female qualifies by way of points, then the next highest Male/Female will qualify for the regional tournament, and so on. This is the same for the Youth/Adult team.
We head to Temple Lake Park , on Lake Belton April 26, 2008 for the 4th stop on the Central Texas Division Trail.
