McNair Park in Sun Rise Beach Village will be host the site for the third tournament on the 2008 schedule.
Sunrise Beach Village is located on the Southwestern Shore of Lake LBJ off 2233. For Directions: http://cityofsunrisebeach.org/sunrisebeach/ 325-388-6438
We have made arrangements with Lake LBJ Resort & Marina in Sunrise Beach for lodging. They have cabins, cottages, and a lodge that they will make available first come first serve.
I would determine how many beds each room has, and double up with other teams and members. George told me they have a boat ramp as well. You can contact George at 325-388-9393, or http://www.lakelbjfun.com. Please be sure and tell them you are with Fishers of Men.
Pre-Tournament Meeting will be March 28, 2008.
Hosting the Pre-Tournament meeting again this year will be the Marble Falls Church of Christ; they will be preparing a wonderful meal as well as those wonderful deserts. I know the FOM staff always looks forward to the LBJ tournament. We are honored to have Lance Wenmoh’s be our guest speaker, lance is an active member at the Marble Falls Church of Christ, and he and Mike Clark have been fishing with us since the beginning. As many of you have noticed Fishers of Men has grown a great deal over the 5 years we have been in Central Texas, and realize we need more room than the wonderful church can accommodate comfortably, so we they have made arrangements for us to meet at the Marble Falls Middle School, Located south of the football field and just north of the HEB and Bealls, just north of RR 1431 in Marble Falls. Here is a link to a map of the facility--
