Well, looks like I finally figured out how to attach pics. Here are a few Fayette fish that Skeeter John, his dad and I caught over the past couple months. Depending on the day and conditions, we caught them in the cat-tails, timber, and pond dams on a variety of baits. Mostly, we just kept moving from spot to spot- pick up a couple fish and then move on. Moved from Ohio in January and it has been very cool to be fishing in Texas- especially in "winter"!
Here's Skeeter John with a 5lb-er:

Good times!!

It has been a fun spring. We've been catching 20-40 fish per trip with a few nice ones going a little over 5#s.
The suspending crank baits and c-rigs have been the tickets in the timber and off of points.

With the weather getting warmer, time to move off shore and fish some deep humps and ridgelines.

Hopefully we can find some schoolies as well.
