Hi, a buddy and I are trying to hit Fayette on Thurs. but it's supposed to be windy as hell that day. Does anyone have any suggestions where we might still catch fish and avoid 40 mph gusts? Thanks in advance,

Sean

As Bill Spears says, the wind is your friend. ;D ;D

When the wind is blowing out of the South, it can be tough. Otherwise there are places to get out of the wind. We did well in the three fingers area last time out. 5-10 feet of water with med diving crankbaits and tr senkos (green pumpkin seed) in the trees. Work it real slow.

Fayette is rough in the wind. If its blowing 20 mph in Austin it will be blowing 40 mph on fayette, with no protection like you can find on most lakes. Good luck though and hope you slay them. Look forward to your report.

Out in the middle of the lake, you will find some BIG........................WAVES.............be carefull..
