Louie and I were able to get out to Fayette yesterday.  We had a decent day given the conditions.  That south wind was really howling. We managed to catch 15.  Best 5 went about 18lbs.
The morning was great with the cloud cover.  We caught fish between 1 and 12 ft of water.  If there was some grass (not slim) there were some fish in it.  Our best fish came during the morning cloud cover from trees in 10-12 ft on watermelon red rattlesnakes, Texas rig.  Rest of the day we spend cruising all over the lake catching one here and there.  Lures we caught fish on; senkos, rattlesnakes, and rattletraps.

I bet the wind was blowing. Wish I could have gotten out myself. Thanks for the report.
