Pre-front conditions were nice. Light winds out of south 5-10 mph in AM. Around 11am wind tuned, rained a few minutes, wind 15-20 mph. caught 12 fish, one on spinned bait in big trees near stumps 1 foot water, rest on texas rigged, red ring worm black core in 4-8 foot water on inlet side flats near getty. Lots of boats, some people have no class. Cut off several times by other boats. Talked to several folks, some large fish caught.
Sunday the bite went off, north winds 15-25, cold.

My buddy and I are thinking about fishing Fayette for the first time Saturday. Do you know what ramp we should put in at? Will you be out Saturday? We know what you mean about bad boat drivers. We fished Conroe last Saturday.

either ramp will work, there is no difference. alot of boats are fishing the flats on the east side of the stump field, water is about 2 feet down. Good Luck.
