Got on the water about 8:00 this morning and tried a topwater for while with no luck. Found that alot of the grass has come back now so I threw a megabass jerkbait over it with some good fish to show (3-4' deep). Caught some on a wacky worm in the grass.....I hate to fish a wacky so I didnt stick with it very long. Ran to another spot and found grass there but no fish...the wind was blowing over it, I dont know why they werent there, its pretty much the same layout as the first spot?
Went back to my first spot and decided to throw a C'Rig on a tank dam...caught one first cast. A few more cast no fish......changed the angle of my boat and started catching one every cast just about. Caught em' good for an hour or so and had to leave to pick my boys up from school.
All in all a good day on the water as I havent been able to go as much as I usually do here lately.Hopefully things will slow down for me and I can get back to going a couple of time a week!!
Take care,
Noel

Thanks for the report Noel.

Heck, I almost went out there this morning myself, but I changed my mind. I need to get back out there pretty soon, but I on the other hand, I have this itch to get back on lake Austin. So at this popint I'm really not sure where I'll end up fishing this week.
