Went out to fayette with James Small on his 2003 Skeeter.Wow, lots of wind! We had to move out of the intake area to the discharge just to not blow away! The water was about 64 at the intake,,,we where throwing what he calls gitsits..(tubes) no bites at the intake but did mark fish.Because of the wind we went to the discarge.the temp was 84.James caught his first 5-6lber. Then I foul hooked a talapia! with a bomber crank in the side!A big one! Thought I had a LUNKER! Switched over to a YM topwater and landed a 4lber! At the end of the evening I caught all fish on chrome rattle trap! He caught the rest of his fish off jigs! The evening bite was very good!James showed me how to mark fish on a Flasher! Didnt know they even used those anymore!lol! He like it though! Altogether we caught 16 fish. I caught 9 and james caught 7. We did have about 20-22lb sack 5 best fish! Great day at the lake!

That's a fun lake to fish no matter what the weather is like.
Glad to hear ya'll got on some nice fish.

I'll be back out there this coming Saturday. Taking a guy who really knows nothing about bass fishing, but hope that I'll be able to put him on some good fish and teach him a thing or two about bass fishing.
