Fish Falcon last weekend and had a blast. Caught around 70 fish throughout the weekend. Water temperature is still a little chilly at 59 compared to last year when it was right at 70. Got on a good bite throwing 3/4 ounce white chartreuse spinnerbaits with a reaction innovations skinny dipper as a trailer. We were throwing off of main lake windy points, slow rolling them off the bottom and through the brush. Basically fishing a spinnerbait like a worm or jig. Also caught a bunch of fish on carolina rigged mag flukes in Green Pumpkin Magic color. The biggest fish of the trip was a 9.2 caught on a peanut butter and jelly one ounce jig on a rock pile in 23 feet of water. The fish was post spawn and was really beat up. All in all it was a great trip and we will be back in April. Hopefully the wind will stay somewhere below 30 mph this time.
