Fished Falcon last weekend with my Dad and brother. Caught about 50 fish in two Days between the three of us. Fished mainly the south end of the lake in the Tigers area but did venture up to the north end of the lake a little. With the lake as full as it is it can be a little overwhelming but if you can find a ledge with some good chunk rock on it its game on. We fished mainly deep rock ledges with football head jigs and carolina rigged mag flukes to catch about 90% of our fish. The others were caught on 3/4 oz. spinnerbaits. The biggest fish of the weekend I caught on the second cast on a spinnerbait. It went 9.2. The second biggest my brother caught on a jig that went 8.11. All in all it was a great trip. Great weather, good fishing and no Pirate sightings! Talked to a lot of guys that were killing them on the mexican side on spinnerbaits. Most of them said they were catching 60-70 fish a day. They also said they never saw anything suspicious and never felt threatned at all. If you're looking for a great place to catch a fish of a life time and have the time of your life get down to falcon as soon as possible.

Sounds like a great trip. The wife for xmas was going to let me take a trip to mexico to one of the big bass lakes but I have no passport (yet). I told her just to give me the cash and I'll go to falcon!

Thats a wise choice Lance.. That like is unreal.. The nine pounder I caught was literally 20 feet away from the boat ramp..
