Spent three days with guide trip and caught 75 bass. 45 on Mon, 5 on Tues, and 25 on Wed......Note, it went considerably down on day two, but that's fishing.....caught two over seven on day 1, one over 8 on day two, and only two over four on day three.....all caught in 15-25 feet on Stanley football jigs and some soft plastics - Kicker Fish Bird Dawg's
Not bad for a few days of fishing..

Keep any?   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cool deal.  One day I will have success there. Where did you stay and who was the guide?
I was the guide....customer was from Lewisville...
I stay at Oso Blanco (White Bear in Spanish). It is very convenient,
has reasonable prices, close to Tina's Restaurant (best breakfast in town), and has a boat ramp...Located mid-lake just over the Valeno
bridge in Zapata.
...didn't keep any. ::)

Cool thanks for the information. Been looking for a cheap place to stay.
Good report. My buddy makes the Kicker Fish Bird Dawgs, they are good baits. My dad caught his PB on a Bird Dawg on Travis, 8.25. We catch a ton of fish C/R the Wacky Fineese Worm. He just came out with some Hole Shot Lizzards.
Yes, i also used the hole shot worms and lizards to make a check at the 49th annual Texas team tournament on Amistad a couple of months ago....had access to some of the early Kickler Fish product....
I fished by myself, and all others were two-man teams, and I managed to manage to get in the money. I've also had good results with the Kicker Fish hole shot worms on shakey heads on Lake Travis.
