Got back from the RGV last night. I got to squeeze Christmas festivities between a couple trips to Falcon. The boat has lots of new scratches, spiders, and broken off thorn sticks! I fished with my dad the whole time and put him on his personal best twice. He caught a 7.25 in the first 10 minutes we were there, so the trip started good. We fished main lake points when the wind would allow, deep humps, dam rocks, creek channels, senderos... The best bite was on spinnerbaits creeped along the bottom. We also got bit on big worms, flukes, and double wide beavers. Our best day was tuesday. We had almost 34lbs, with an 8.25lb kicker. We didn't catch an undersize fish the entire trip, and on tuesday, we probably caught 25 fish, with about 10 over 5lbs. I've never been hit so hard by a bass before. The were hitting the spinnerbaits like a ton of bricks!

Great fish Kyle! Bryan and I had a great time down there on the 20th & 21st. We got hit so hard on the 21st on one hump I have a bruise on my side from the fish fighting so hard! For about an hour we were pulling in solid fish (4-5lbs) one after another! Falcon is just a flat out awesome lake.

I stayed at Oso Blanco and the evening I got there I went out to the ramp behind the motel and hooked a 4lber right away.

I'm glad it's about 6hours away or I'd never get anything done.

Great going Kyle. Looks like at least one of those spots paid off. ;)

If anyone needs a trip on Falcon, holler. I should already be there next week so if you just want one day I'd be glad to get you out and hooked up with some of those toads since I normally do 2 days minimum there. Of course, multiple days is fine too.
