I would get the biggest jon boat you can lift with two people. A 10 foot jon boat is too small in my opinion, but if you are fish by yourself, then maybe so....

I might be on LA this weekend in a 8 foot Bass Buster...This might be interesting to see.

However, these boats are great for lake draw-downs, community lakes and Town Lake, I would think...

My favorite style of boat is called a
Gheenoe

It is the only small boat that I can stand up and turn around, and cast, without tipping the boat over..They are all over Florida.

For base hull cost of $750...not a bad deal in my opinion. Wish there was a local dealer!
