Went out to decker lake sunday to try it out. The weather was nice and windy with somewhat good clouds covrage from time to time. Lots of boats out, and groups of people on the banks fishing. I decided to anchor down around 30fow.
The fish finder was going crazy but not to much action on the boat. The fish were around 20fow probably because the water temp was around 80'sHOT. Or unless there was some thermocylines down their dont know. Was able to locate some live shad around heavy vegation, and no luck on that. Total time out there 5 hrs total fish 1 :'(

One bass caught on crank" kneel and reel does work". Any ideas on how I could have produced more fish.

fished decker saturday morning from 6am to 11:30, caught one early on a senko then about 5-6 about 10:30 on a chrome top water they were chasing shad in the cove next to the boat ramp. Largest was about 4lbs everything was in the slot.

Any ideas on how I could have produced more fish.

During this time of year with the water so hot the only time Decker is really productive for LM's is early in the morning before the sun comes up or late evening as the sun is going down. It is pretty much a waste of time to fish for LM's during the day. You will get lucky now and then but in general you won't catch much.
