Me and my dad Fished Decker lake today for the first time. Never fished this lake before we arrived on the water at 730am and left at 12pm. We started at the outlet of the power plant and mainly threw baitfish color flukes in the mouth where the reeds are. we started out great 3 fish 3 casts in the 14 inch range. We boated around 7 fish till 900am. then the wind started to kick up and we moved out towards some deeper grass. the wind was so strong we had to flip grass with a 3/4 oz tungsten weight! throughout the day i boated 10 small fish with one decent one that might have gone 3lbs. Overall it was a fun day. we finished the day with me boating 10 fish and my dad boating 7.

That's good work to pull 17 fish out of a lake you never fished before and on a windy day. Glad you had fun with your dad. Need to get my dad out again soon. Thanks for the post!
