[Yankee Bass Hunter]

New to the area. Just starting to explore some of the local lakes. Was out on decker fishing the "discharge" side of the lake from 5:30pm ~8pm saw 3 fish surface no bites - nothing . Tried a variety of rapalas different depths, pumpkinseed and chartruese worms carolina rigged.

I fish from canoe, and am impressed how all the big boats are very considerate of small crafts - slowing down to reduce wake - thanks guys!

Decker' still pretty slow. I got skunked too yesterday from about 2-5. In a few weeks it should make for some good action.

Decker was really tough for me yesterday, too. I fished from around 11-6 and had just 2 fish to show for it - both on senkos around grass. I couldn't find any baitfish anywhere I looked until I started paying a bit of attention to the mainlake - finally found everything bunched up 30-40 feet deep!

The previous weekend was much better for me - had a few fish up to 4 lbs on traps and plastics around grass.

There seemed to be a pretty big club tourney going on yesterday, too. How'd you guys do?
