Fished da pond this morning 7:45 till 10.  Seven keepers the score.  The biggest was 7.1 a little over 21inches.  Two over  four, 3 over three and one 2 pound + fish.  What a great time!  It stayed cloudy so I stuck with topwater all morning.  Of course the one that got away was bigger. ;D  I did miss a few so goes top water fishing. Best trip out there for me since spring.

Da pond is a local community lake that was named that by another forum member. Since the over fishing and trashing of the "tank" after numerous postings it seems everyone is very tight lipped about the places they fish. I see you have been with the forum awhile and I would communicate more via PM.

No I was bank bound as usual. I do have a raft but I hate using it. This morning it didnt seem to matter. One of those right place at the right time happenings.

Rayj, is this post accessible via kayak or is it to small a body of water. I live in Cedar Park and have a community pond that I take my son to when he is wanting to catch some good fighting perch.

It is yak-able. It is a good size for a community lake.

Thanks your catches as posted inspired me to fish there during the fall.
Fished after work this morning nothing to brag about. One three+, two plus, and a dink. No clouds + no wind equaled a not so good topwater bite.
