Cub Scout Fishing Derby 4/25

Our Cub Scout group in Marble Falls pack 284 was invited to fish the Simmons Ranch Lake. Simmons Ranch is  premier ranch in the Central Texas Hill Country featuring:Quarter Horse Breeding and Sales ~ Roping Steer Sales & Leasing ~ Exotic Game Hunting Packages. It has a great hunting Lodge ;D ;D


We had a nice time with 20 or so kids fishing for LMB.  Every one was catching fish.  The Grande Bass Watermelon was a hit.  One a few my son caught.

I went a few hours of being skunked, until this nice one was landed.  We had a great time.

Boys  had to make their own lures.  See Pic

Nice job. We tried calling last night to see how you did. Did you catch anything on the lure you made? Looks like you had a great time.
