This week at Lake Georgetown we used $15 worth of 2.8" Keitechs in a little over four hours. I have been making molds and pouring plastic since '74. In the past few years I had gotten away from it. Yesterday I made a silicone mold for a 2.8" Keitech. Made a few this morning and went to Cowan Pond in Sun City to test them. I call it the "Cement Pond". I made these weedless jig heads for my lady friend and they worked so well for her that I started using them too. Caught a small fish right away and a few casts later this fat girl. Really unusual for this pond. Doesn't have a good population and fish are skinny. So my home made stuff works. Need to make some multi-cavity molds now.
