Colorado Bend State Park  3-27 3-28-10

Colorado Bend State Park was a great camping spot, beautiful river setting, only draw back was too many people
The river was packed with fishermen, lots of fly fishermen.  lots of people catching limits of white bass. Most fish were males.
Boat ramp was usable for small boats, small jon boats, but I could not launch my 17 ft. alum skeeter. Water level needs to be higher for larger boats.
One complaint I had was the nerve of some of the fly fishermen, if you started catching fish the would
move in on your spot and cut you off.  I was wade fishing knee deep, they were in waders and would move in
and start fishing. Any way still had a good time, caught a few fish, spent good time with the family.Next time I will be ready for river fishing and be better prepared for wader fishing.
