Contestants may not be on Choke Canyon for the purpose of fishing between:
• 8:00pm Saturday, September 6th, 2008 thru 6:30am Sunday, September 7th, 2008

I have never fished Choke Canyon before. I know of alligators in the lake. I use to fish Lake Livingston a lot with the same creatures. Interesting when they BLOW-UP on a big buzz bait! ;D

Under 150 miles to Choke, is not that far. I know there is a RV park at the lake.. :-/

Just don't stay at that campsite/park that's right next to that refinery you've got to pass on your way to the lake. That area has always had the most HORRIBLE smell ever and I always can't believe my eyes when I pass that campsite and actually see people staying there overnight. I don't think I'd be able to bear doing that once, let alone stay in the area for more than 10 mins...

Headed out now. Looking forward to catching a big one unless Airfob (the bad influence) keeps me up all night.

Teamed up with T Gun and we were able to cut 2 checks, weighed in a 6.44 and a 9.40. Tommy stuck the big one half an hour before the cut off time...never give up!

Turnout was small and so were the payouts, we might have covered our beer tab. On second thought, maybe not...

Sorry, no pics of the fish, only the beer.

As always great hanging with the TOZ crew and thanks again for the hookup on the house and eats! Congrats on y'alls checks and to Justin and Bryan for cashing several checks as well.
