Took a budy of mine and his dad to Choke Canyon last Sunday and had a pretty good time. Started out slow in the morning with heavy fog keeping us close to the boat ramp. Caught a few small fish on buzzbaits and had a couple blow up on a frog. When the fog lifted we headed up river with no luck. About 1pm the clouds rolled in and the wind started to blow and the fishing started to pick up. We caught several 2-3lb fish and about 3pm I caught a 5lb 8oz. About an hour later my buddy stuck a nice 7lb 12oz. Pretty good day on the water and you couldn't ask for better weather.
