Tough bite to say the least. Chilly, windy and some drizzle. Fished with a buddy from 7 AM to 7 PM. Air temps from 56 to 64. Water temps from 77 to 79. We ended up with 9 fish (8 LMB & 1 crappie). 5 were caught on a 3/8oz yellow spinner bait, 1 on a black buzz ribit and 3 on a watermelon red 8" worm. Every fish was under 2 pounds.
I know for a fact now if the winds are predicted to be 7 mph at Choke, just go ahead and double that. It seems every time I go down there the winds are twice what was predicted.
