I got home from work and strapped the yak to the tow rig and headed to the C&R. The wind died and the light drizzle quit. I silently prowled the shallows, casting a wacky rigged green pumpkin senko tight to the veggies. I liked the quiet, emptying my mind and tuned in only to the slack in the line. I had five bites in ten casts with three in the yak. Pretty good start.

I drifted down lake, getting taps and short strikes. I got two more in the yak. Turtles and ducks swam around me and birds lighted in the reeds. The shoreline flora is coming in nice. The lake is clear and full. A very pleasant spring evening. Off at 7pm.

Very nice. Really do have to get there. Can you tell me where you put the yak in? I do not trailer, bed of truck and a cart to the water.
