I admired the lovely mammatus cloud leftover from the afternoon rain shower. A bump in the water level at the C&R seems to turn the fish on. I fished an hour in the yak. I found some fun fish in the water willow. I caught seven on senkos. I tossed the senko a couple feet from a stand of water willow. My line started swimming. I r’ared back and got good weight. The line sang thru the water. I felt line being pulled off the spool and then the hook pull loose. A young man fishing from the bank said, “Sorry man, that was a good’un.” Off at 6:30 pm.
