Do the black bass school on Lake Buchanan like they do at other lakes such as Bastrop and Fayette? I have seen the whites up top schooling but havent ever found any black bass like that. Does this only happen at certain lakes? :-/

No reason why they wouldn't. I have personally never seen it on Buch, but it doesn't make any sense for them not to. Often times they will mix in with other species as they school (whites and stripers). I have even seen it happen on lakes that don't have shad in them. I've seen them group up bluegill and bust them just like shad. They'll school about anywhere. The only time that I haven't seen them school is in REALLY muddy water...like 6" or less visibility...
