Thought I would get a repeat of my last trip so I loaded up the yak and was on the water at 5:33 making my way along the front of the docks. Started throwing pegged flukes (Disco Violet and Bluegill) and dead sticking just like Tuesday. Several quick pickups but nothing I managed to set a hook on. Worked my way out to the mouth of the cove and back in without setting the hook on a single fish. But the morning was beautiful. Sun was up by the time I reached the marina and the lack of activity led me to head in and back to work. Off the water at 7:18. Keep your line tight, be safe and have a blessed day.

Do you have any theories about the results on this trip vs the trip on the 21st?

Not sure Agarita although I know the weather was changing with the tropical storm coming in. That may have had something to do with it. Otherwise I guess I was just not enticing enough. Maybe I should think about taking my shirt off and see if I can scare them into biting next time.
